Release of Ubuntu 9.04 - Jaunty Jackalope

Faster boot speed, enhanced application suite and more visual appeal -- give users more reasons than ever to choose Ubuntu.

That's the first statement i see in Ubuntu.com, does not feel that Ubuntu will going so far like this i really happy that Open Source Software will maturate so fast, i already read a statement from Jane Silber.

"With every release, we see Ubuntu Desktop Edition make significant steps forward in appealing to mainstream computer users. With access to the latest office productivity suite, support for Skype and Adobe Flash, and faster boot times, we're confident that Ubuntu 9.04 Desktop Edition will see more people join millions of others and make the switch to an open platform."

I just wondering, "how? they can do that.."
impressive, they can develope a Linux-based Operating System not just good as the complete Operating System but fast too, as Jane Silber said with every release of Ubuntu will make a significant steps forward in appealing to mainstream computer user, is one of severeness.

In my journey to reach the Way of Openess i always converge with many Linux-Distribution that really fast, can booting just 10 seconds even less and powerfull, but not give me every feature like Ubuntu you know used text-based distribution.

Ubuntu 9.04 powered by Linux Kernel 2.6.28 and, support Ext4 filesystem, etc.

My First Time Linux

There is a year after i used Linux, i really amazed by that fast, stable, secure, no-virus, etc. First time i try on Ubuntu 7.10, really nice GNOME desktop, Ubuntu have everything i need like GIMP, GCC, IM, etc. after 6 monts i did a migration my hand try on Slackware 12, again i got pwned by Linux really fast, there is many window manager but fluxbox is my favorite, after customizing all i need my eyes take a look on Arch Linux this time i really-really amazed again.

Even just a year but give me more knowledge and understand what software is, Now i used Arch Linux on "Lucinda Embry" a Lenovo ThinkPad R61 and Debian on "Rachel Dawes" a custom PC.

Iam not an expert but always try to have fun with these stuff.
I love "U add *Nix" always.

Welcome fokjs!

"U mean You, *Nix mean everything"

Is just simple blog with simple template :)
i will write every open source thing in here, include my experince with Open Source Software like GNU, Linux, BSD, and others. The purpose of this blog is to become *Nix resources (Remember *Nix can mean everything), but not everything! just *Nix everything (I know you started to confuse, heh?)

Day by day, Linux with GNU of course become more popular Operating System (Hey, don't forget *BSD too!), and one thing is best, all of that is Free and Open Source!!

So, just try Open Source software now! before you feel remorse!

Ooh, sorry!
I forget to introduce my self
